* As a convenience to our customers, CSR will pay the customers the scrap value of the appliance minus the refrigerant removal cost.

Items CSR Does Not Accept:

  • Any item containing PCB’s (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) including but not limited to:
    • Wet or Dry Capacitors
    • Electrical Transformers or Transformer Components
    • Copiers
    • Flame Retardant Plastic
  • Railroad Scrap without Proper Documentation
  • Steel Cable (unless cut in 5 foot lengths)
  • Radioactive Material
  • Rubber, Wood, and Glass
  • Propane Tanks and Cylinders (if the valves are NOT removed)
  • Asbestos or Asbestos-Containing Materials (i.e. pipe or I-beam insulation, brake shoes or pads, tiles, packing material, and debris)
  • Airbag Canisters
  • Military Scrap of Any Kind (unless it is inspected and approved in advance)
  • Oils, Other Petroleum Products and Petroleum By-Products
  • Any Other Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Wastes, or Universal Waste
  • Electronics

Motor Vehicle Scrap Requirements

The following requirements must be met before we will accept a scrap motor vehicle:

  • The title must be notarized to Consolidated Scrap Resources
  • The gas tank must be removed from the vehicle.
  • All fluids must be drained.
  • The trunk must be accessible for inspection.
  • The battery must be removed.
  • Mercury Switches

We will accept the following when they are removed from a vehicle:

  • Vehicle Batteries
  • Steel Gasoline Tanks (must be flattened)
  • Plastic Gas Tanks (must be cut in half)
